Seraphine sweeps the Cesars and lands at Lincoln Center...





The French film Seraphine has just won top honors garnering seven Cesars, the French equivalent of an Academy Award. The film, directed by Martin Provost is a biographical treatment of the life of the early twentieth century painter Seraphine of Senlis (portrayed by Yolande Moreau who was named Best Actress). The film will be shown this weekend as part of Lincoln Center’s with French Cinema series.
